Selank (Intranasal)

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • If you are receiving care for a severe psychiatric illness, consult with psychiatrist prior to starting this peptide

DOSING

Cycle Length: 4-6 weeks followed by 2-4 week washout period

Dosing Times: Morning to early evening is ideal. 1-3 times doses per day is typical

Onset Time: 15-30 minutes.

Additional Considerations: Does not require administration during a fasted state, as the intranasal administration bypasses the gastrointestinal tract.

Storage: Selank atomizer should be refrigerated.

Administration: Intranasal spray. Always split dose between both nostrils as much as possible. This is because it increases the mucosal surface area exposed to the solution, decreases runoff into the throat/loss from swallowing, and allows for more consistent absorption because nasal airflow, congestion, mucus, and the normal nasal cycle may make one nostril less effective than the other at any given time.

Low Dose Protocol: 1-2 sprays (100-200mcg), 2-3 times per day

Standard Protocol: 2-3 sprays (200-300mcg), 3 times per day
