Lemon Bottle Overview
Lemon Bottle is a fat-dissolving solution designed to eliminate targeted areas of fat. The solution is a proprietary blend of ingredients, including deoxyholic acid, Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Bromelain, and Lecithin. When injected into fatty tissue, the solution breaks the adipocytes (fat cells) down, converting them into fatty acids and glycerol which are then expelled by the lymphatic system processes (via sweat and urine) over time.

This is perhaps the most cost effective way to treat stubborn areas of fat which have proven resistant to diet, exercise, and/or supplements without surgical intervention. This is one of the few treatments which has proven effective for smoothing the dimpled, lumpy appearance of cellulite. It stimulates collagen production and improves the elasticity, texture, and health of the skin as the fat is removed. It is able to reduce the appearance of a double chin, correct facial asymmetry, contour the abdomen, and erase saddlebags.

Beyond the surface-level effects, the Lemon Bottle solution effectively elevates metabolic processes, burning calories much more efficiently than pre-treatment levels.

How long until I can see results?
Some individuals may notice some improvement as soon as 24 hours after the procedure. For the most part, the results of the injections are not immediate, as it takes time for the body to break down and eliminate the fat cells. It is most common, however, to notice tangible results around 2-4 weeks with optimal results at 1-2 months.

The effectiveness of the treatment can vary, and multiple sessions are often needed to achieve the desired outcome. The best part of all? Once these fat cells are gone, they cannot return to the same spot, just like liposuction.

Is one Lemon Bottle treatment enough?
It is recommended that you apply a total of 3-5 treatments, spaced exactly 7 days apart from each other.

However, you can typically see results from a single session as soon as 24-48 hours after application, but it may take as long as 4-7 days. To ensure that your fat reduction is uniform and you achieve optimal results, we encourage you to following the manufacturer’s instructions without exception.

Ingredients
Do not use Lemon Bottle if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Riboflavin (Vitamin B2):
Activates fat metabolism through fat tissue oxidation and fat burning, leading to a precise lipoysis process. It stimulates the rapid transformation of carbohydrates, proteins, and fat into energy, reduces blood fat, and reduces edema (from increased blood flow).

Lecithin:
Destroys and transports unnecessary fat cells out of the body. It is also beneficial in reducing cholesterol levels in the blood, thus controlling atherosclerosis (a disease where plaques, which are deposits of fat, cholesterol, and other substances, build up inside arterial walls).

Bromelain:
Helps break down excess fat tissue and reduces inflammation. The protease enzyme gives the lipolytic effect of bromelain, making it an essential component to inflammation. It also increases the wound healing time and reduces edema and pain upon product administration.

Centella Asiatica (or Gotu Kola):
Improves circulation as well as the synthesis of collagen and skin tissue. Helps to support the skin’s underlying structure, thus improving upon loss of firmness. It is particularly beneficial for improving elasticity. Helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and loose skin.

Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) extract:
Contains bromelain; fruit acids have mild exfoliant properties; contains pineapple ceramide that is loaded with glucoceramide, a skin moisturizer that also helps to lighten the skin and make it more smooth.

Pentylene Glycol (humectant):
A multi-functional ingredient used as an emulsion stabilizer, solvent, and a broad spectrum microbial; works synergistically with preservatives and helps to improve water-resistance of sunscreens.

Sodium Chloride (controls viscosity):
Functions as a thickener in certain formulas containing ionic cleansing agents (aka surfectants); a couple of percents (typically 1-3%) turns a runny surfectant solution into a nice gel texture. Can work as an emulsion stabilizer in water-in-oil emulsions; can be a physical exfoliating agent.

Centella Asiatica Extract aka Gotu Kola aka Cica (soothing, antioxidant, humectant):
Anti-inflammatory; promotes wound healing, stimulates glycosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid synthesis in our skin; moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects; has madecassoside which helps with wound healing through increasing antioxidant activity and enhancing collagen synthesis; helps treat cellulite or striae by regulating microcirculation and normalizing the metabolism in the cells of connective tissues.

Salvia Miltiorrhiza Root extract
Chamomilla Recutita (Matricatia) extract
Scutellaria Baicalensis Root extract (soothing, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antibacterial, humectant): A traditional Chinese herbal medicine loaded with potent antioxidant, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory flavonoids such as baicalin, baicalein, and wogonin; has some skin-brightening benefits.

Common target areas for Lemon Bottle application

  • Localised fat loss in specific areas
  • Fatty tissue on the arms and back “bat wings”
  • Fatty tissue of the abdominal area
  • Saddlebags
  • Hips
  • Fatty accumulations on the inner and outer areas or the thighs and knees
  • Double chin
  • Cellulite
  • “Chipmunk cheeks”

How do I determine how much Lemon solution I will need?

  1. Use a marker to outline the area you will be treating. Any marker may be used at this stage.
  2. Use a measuring tool with centimeter graduations to create a grid on the skin.
    a) If you are treating the area under your chin, this grid should be 1cm x 1cm between the outline.
    b) If you are treating anywhere on the rest of your body, the grid should be 2cm x 2cm.
  3. Draw a dot in the center of each square within the grid. These are your injection points. Count them up — this is how to determine how much Lemon you will need for each treatment. Keep in mind that it is recommended that you do 3-5 treatments, spaced exactly 7 days apart.

Example:
If the location is your chin, and you have 8 injection points, and each of those points requires 1cc or 1mL, 8×1= 8mL per session. Because it is an area without dense, thick fat, 3 treatments should suffice. 8X3 = 24mL for all 3 treatments.

If you are using a place with moderate fat density and thickness, each point will get 1.5mL. Let’s say you are doing this on two thighs, and there are a total of 6 injection points on each side. One thigh will require 6×1.5=9mL, and since you will be treating them, 9×2=18. Each session will require 18mL of Lemon, or 2 bottles. If you do 3 sessions, you need 6 bottles.

If you are doing this on a place like your stomach which has substantial fat, you will need to inject 2mL into each point. Let’s say there are 10 injection points. You will need 10×2= 20mL per treatment, and will likely need 5 sessions. 20×5=100mL, or 10 bottles of Lemon.

Supplies

  • It is strongly recommended that you determine the total amount of Lemon solution you will need for all 3–5 sessions (these sessions are to be done once every 7 days).
  • 3 sessions is sufficient to achieve tangible results for most fat. For extremely thick fat, assume that you will need to treat the area with 5 sessions.
  • Mild, antibacterial soap, e.g. Dial, Lever, or Safeguard.
  • Chlorhexidine gluconate soap (Hibiclens or Dyna-Hex)
  • Measuring device such as a ruler or tailor’s tape with centimeter graduations
  • Medical grade skin marker
  • Either 10mL Luer Lock Syringes and 30 gauge, ½” Luer Lock Syringe Tips
    OR
30 gauge, 1cc/1mL Insulin Syringes with ½” tips in a sufficient quantity to be able to pre-fill one syringe per injection point prior to starting the session. For any area other than your face, get the 10mL Luer Lock syringes, or you will have to do 2 separate injections into each point.
  • Alcohol Prep Pads

Area-Specific Dosing Guidelines
The following is a list of common treatment areas with the maximum amount of Lemon Bottle which can be administered to that area in a single session.

Face:
A limit of 10-20mL per session; 1mL per injection point

Area-specific Injection Guidelines

General:
A limit of 30mL per area and 100mL overall limit per session

Face:
Recommend up to 10mL in the face; 1mL per injection point

Thighs:
Recommend 10-20mL per thigh; 1.5-2mL per injection point

Arms:
A limit of 10-15mL per session; 1.5-2mL per injection point

Hips:
A limit of 15-25mL per side; 1.5-2mL per injection point

Belly:
A limit of 30-40mL per session; 2-3mL per injection point

Preparation Tip
Load enough 1mL syringes to perform the entire procedure prior to starting, when injecting the face.

Each line on the 10mL (10cc) syringe is equal to 1mL (1cc).
This syringe will hold one entire 10mL vial of Lemon, allowing for the most efficient administration of the injections.

PREPARATION FOR ADMINISTRATION OF LEMON BOTTLE

Two Days Before Treatment

Supplies needed for preparation at this time:
• A mild antibacterial soap like Dial, Lever, or Safeguard. May be in bar or liquid form.
• A 2-4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate pre-surgical wash like Hibiclens or Dyna-Clens. Hibiclens, I can assure you, will be the most readily available and can be found at any drug store, most big box chains, and local pharmacies.

Each night prior to the day you will administer the product, you will need to use the Hibiclens/Dyna-Hex in your shower.

  1. Shampoo and condition your hair with your usual products, and rinse your hair and body thoroughly to remove any shampoo residue.
  2. Wash your face with your usual product(s).
  3. Cleanse your body with a mild antibacterial soap (aka Dial, Lever, Safeguard)
  4. Thoroughly rinse your face and body. You want to rinse off enough soap residue as possible. Take your time on this step.
  5. Turn the water off.
  6. Apply Hibiclens/Dyna-Hex directly onto your skin or onto a wet washcloth and massage your body from the neck down. Do not allow the chlorhexidine gluconate to get onto your genital or rectal area. Once you have applied the soap to your entire body, allow it to remain there for 3-5 minutes. During that time, apply more chlorehexidine gluconate to the area that you will be administering your Lemon Bottle to, thoroughly massaging it into that area.
  7. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and make sure to keep it out of your eyes, ears, and mouth. If it does get into these areas, rinse them immediately.
  8. Dry off very well with a clean towel. Do not apply lotions, ointments, or powders. If you are targeting any part of your face, do not apply makeup to that area.
  9. Dress in fresh, clean clothing/pajamas after each shower.

TThe Day of Your Lemon Bottle Administration

Supplies

Preparation for Administering Lemon Bottle (Immediately Before Administering the Treatment)

  1. Take a shower and wash your body with a mild antibacterial soap.
Do not wash your face or hair.
  2. Thoroughly rinse as much soap residue from your body as possible.
  3. Turn off the water. Apply chlorhexidine gluconate soap to your body, focusing on the Lemon Bottle treatment area.
Allow the soap to sit on your skin for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Rinse your body thoroughly in warm water.
  5. Use a clean towel to dry your body completely.
  6. Do not use any lotions, ointments, fragrances, or body powders prior to your treatment.
  7. Get dressed in a clean set of clothes.

Preparation

  1. Thoroughly cleanse the treatment area as well as the skin immediately around that area with alcohol prep pads or 99% isopropyl solution using cotton swabs or pads. Let the area dry completely.
  2. Optional, Recommended: At least 30 minutes before beginning your injections, apply topical tattoo numbing cream to the treatment area.
Allow it to sit for the length of time specified by the product’s instructions.
If you are not using numbing cream, skip to the next step.
  3. Apply rubbing alcohol to a measuring tool — ruler, measuring tape, or flexible sewing tape — that has centimeter graduations.
Outline the area that you are treating with Lemon Bottle.
You will need to draw a grid inside the outline to use as a guide for your injections.

Injection Grid Guidelines

A) Use a 1cm x 1cm grid to mark the face for injections.
On the face, these marks should be made in a 1cm x 1cm grid within the treatment perimeter, as illustrated below:

B) On the body, draw an outline around the entire treatment area.

Then use your marker and measuring
device to draw a grid within that perimeter spaced 1.5-2cm x 1.5-2 cm apart, as illustrated below:

4. You may make a dot in the center of each square to mark your exact injection points, or just inject into the center of each one. Prepare syringe(s) for administration: refer to area-specific injection guidelines, pg.4.

A) If you are using 1mL syringes in an area which requires 1.5mL per injection point, make sure to draw up one full and one half-filled 1cc/1mL syringe for each of your designated injection points. 1mL/1cc syringes are NOT recommended for this protocol.

B) Because you can fit 10mL — one entire vial of Lemon Bottle — into one of the 10mL Luer Lock syringes, you only need to prefill the number of 10mL syringes you will need to complete the treatment. See page 3, #3 at the top of the page to determine the amount required. Make sure you have several replacement Luer Lock tips on hand so that you can change them out as needed during the treatment. You should use a new syringe barrel with each bottle of Lemon in order to be as sanitary as possible, while causing the least amount of damage to the tissues as possible. Some people prefer to replace the tips only as they become dull.

6. Once the injections have been completed, you MUST massage the entire treatment area for several minutes in small, circular motions. This will allow the solution to distribute throughout the surrounding tissues to allow for even distribution and maximum absorption.

NOTE: Many clients will see lumps under the skin at the injection points immediately following treatment. These will dissipate.

7. Follow recovery protocol.

Recovery

Swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness, itching, stinging, and warmth in the treatment area post-treatment is normal. This may last anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days. The swelling and bruising may last for several days post-treatment.

  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for a week following treatment to reduce the chances of hyperpigmentation.
  • Avoid swimming pools, spas, and saunas for one week after treatment.
  • Following the treatment, you may want to apply ice to the affected area to reduce swelling and soreness.
  • Avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity for 10 days after.
  • Because of the high vitamin content in the Lemon Bottle solution, your urine will appear very yellow for at least 12 hours after treatment.
  • Maintain a healthy diet throughout the course of treatment.

Aftercare

  • Fasting: If at all possible, you should fast after dinner the night before your Lemon Bottle injections, all of that day, until noon the day after. The fasting ensures that the body is in a state where it’s more readily able to utilize the solution to break down fat cells. This focuses the body’s metabolism on utilizing the solution to break down fat cells. After the treatment, the body needs to process and eliminate the dissolved fat cells, and both fasting and adequate hydration can accelerate this process and allow the body to flush the fat out quickly.
  • Do not touch or scratch treatment area immediately following the session, to prevent infection or disruption within tissue structures.
  • Use mild, fragrance-free soaps to avoid exacerbating inflammation.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure, at least for the first few days following treatment.
  • Remain hydrated (2 liters of water per day, minimum). The solution works best when the body is well-hydrated, as water intake plays a crucial role in flushing the fat from your body. Drinking enough water aids metabolic activation, leading to efficient calorie burning and an increased rate of fatty acid dissolution.
  • Monitor your reaction to the Lemon Bottle session, paying particular attention to swelling and redness that does not go away, is getting worse rather than better after 3–4 days, or is accompanied by flu-like symptoms. This may be indicative of an infection. Contact a physician.

Maximizing Results

  • Applying heat, in the form of warm compresses applied to the treatment area, or use of a sauna, improves lymphatic fluid circulation. This helps to reduce cellulite and reduce inflammation. A rise in body temperature boosts metabolic rates, burning calories more efficiently.
  • Regular exercise improves blood flow throughout the body and increases metabolism, which accelerates the breakdown and removal process.
  • Compression garments may be worn for short periods of time to enhance the effects of the treatment.

Side Effects

  • Redness and warmth, swelling, itchy skin, pain, tenderness in the treated area
  • Bruising
  • Signs of an allergic reaction include hives and itching. Do not continue to use if you are allergic to this product.
  • In rare cases, nodules, necrosis, abscesses, hematomas, or infection may occur. If you experience anything that concerns you, please seek emergency medical care immediately.
