Cardiogen is a peptide bioregulator that targets the heart and vascular system. Designed to restore normal protein synthesis in cardiomyocytes (heart muscle cells) and regulate gene expression related to cardiovascular health. It supports heart function, improves myocardial resilience, and optimizes cardiovascular system activity by restoring the natural signaling environment within cells. Bioregulators, compared to peptides, are comprised of shorter chains of amino acids which, due to their smaller size, have a lower risk of triggering an unwanted immune response. Each bioregulator is tissue-specific and can bind to DNA and regulate gene expression in specific tissues. Whereas larger peptides mainly act through signaling pathways, bioregulators tend to normalize cellular function at the genetic level. Because they can activate or suppress certain genes linked to repair, regeneration, and longevity, their effects are more foundational and long-lasting compared to standard peptides, which usually only act while present during periods of administration.
What are the benefits of using Cardiogen?
Cardiogen supports the structure, function, and resilience of the heart, particularly under stress, aging, or disease. It is cardioprotective, and normalizes heart rhythm and contractions; reduces the impact of oxidative stress and inflammation on heart tissue; limits the impact of ischemic damage (e.g. damage caused by blood flow or oxygen for sustained periods). Stimulates repair processes in damaged heart muscle, supports regeneration of cardiomyocytes and blood vessel endothelium, and enhances capillary growth and blood supply to cardiac tissue. Reduces incidences of stroke and heart attack; reduces post-infarction recovery time; provides support for arrhythmias, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and cardiomyopathy. Improves exercise tolerance and endurance; contributes to overall vascular health by improving circulation at heart tissue level; improves cellular resilience. Recommended for those with a family history of heart disease and with athletes under high strain. Additional benefits as follows:
- Myocardial Protection: Enhances resistance of cardiac tissue to hypoxia, ischemia, and oxidative stress
- Improved Circulation: Supports blood supply to the heart muscle, enhancing cardiac performance
- Normalization of Heart Rhythm: Helps regulate electrophysiological activity in cardiac tissue
- Post-infarction Recovery: Promotes repair and regeneration processes after myocardial injury
- Cardiovascular longevity: Supports long-term heart health by optimizing gene regulation and protein synthesis
- Stress Resistance: Increases tolerance of the heart to both physical and emotional stress
- Anti-fatigue Effect: Improves energy metabolism in the myocardium, reducing cardiac fatigue under strain
- Adjunct in Cardiovascular Disease: Used in research and clinical practice for arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, myocarditis, and cardiomyopathies
- Support During Rehabilitation: May enhance recovery after cardiac surgery or prolonged illness
- Potential in Metabolic Syndrome: Assists with heart-related complications tied to diabetes, hypertension, and obesity
- Vascular Modulation: Improves endothelial and microcirculatory function
Possible Side Effects
- Injection site irritation (redness, swelling, and/or itching)
- Rare allergic reactions from a hypersensitive to peptide components
- Potential overstimulation of cardiac activity in sensitive individuals
Interactions
- May interact with cardiovascular medications. May complement therapies for arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and/or ischemic heart disease, and thus should be monitored for synergistic effects
- Use caution with antioxidant therapies due to the potential additive benefit due to shared reduction in oxidative stress
- Use with metabolic regulators (e.g. peptides like Pancragen or Endoluten) may enhance systemic benefits and thus require dosing balance
Contraindications
- Known allergy or hypersensitivity to peptide preparations
- Severe decompensated cardiac failure without medical supervision
- Do not use Cardiogen while pregnant or breastfeeding
- Not for pediatric use
