Crystagen

Crystagen is a thymus derivative that is used to normalize immune function, enhance DNA repair processes, and maintain healthy gene expression, particularly in the immune system. Bioregulators, compared to peptides, are comprised of shorter chains of amino acids which, due to their smaller size, have a lower risk of triggering an unwanted immune response. Each bioregulator is tissue-specific and can bind to DNA and regulate gene expression in specific tissues. Whereas larger peptides mainly act through signaling pathways, bioregulators tend to normalize cellular function at the genetic level. Because they can activate or suppress certain genes linked to repair, regeneration, and longevity, their effects are more foundational and long-lasting compared to standard peptides, which usually only act while present during periods of administration.

Benefits

  • Helps normalize immune responses in both hypoactive and hyperactive states
  • Increases stress resistance and resilience
  • Improves recovery following illness, surgery, or stress
  • Supports T-cell maturation and activities
  • Reduction of inflammation/infectious complications
  • Geroprotective benefits
  • Activates B-cell immune response
  • Improves resistance to infections, autoimmune imbalances, and age-related immune decline
  • Stimulates DNA repair enzymes
  • Reduces damage from oxidative stress, toxins, and aging
  • Prevents cellular mutations and promotes genomic stability
  • Protects immune cells from senescence (age-related deterioration) and premature cell death
  • Contributes to overall healthy aging and resilience
  • Ideal supportive therapy for oncological (cancer-related) conditions
  • Improves immune surveillance
  • Helpful in the treatment of chronic infections, autoimmune conditions, or degenerative diseases
  • Plays a role in post-chemo or radiation recovery
  • Increases the body’s resistance to environmental, physical, and psychological stressors, preventative and supportive for aging individuals with declining immune function, and as a general anti-aging intervention

Possible Side Effects

  • Injection site reaction (including redness, swelling, and/or itching)
  • Allergic reaction (rare; discontinue use)

Interactions

  • Because Crystagen modulates immune function, its use in people with autoimmune conditions (e.g. lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis) may theoretically exacerbate those conditions. Use extreme caution and monitor closely
  • People on immunodepressants or who have had an organ transplant should use with caution, as this may result in unforeseen results
  • May cause an unpredictable host response in those with acute infections or sepsis
  • Because Crystagen modulates immune function, its use in people with autoimmune conditions (e.g. lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis) may theoretically exacerbate those conditions. Use extreme caution and monitor closely

Contraindications

  • Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Hypersensitivity to any peptide/byproduct/etc: is an indication of probable allergic response to peptide/components
  • Do not use if you have late stage kidney or liver failure
  • Although Crystagen has shown certain anti-tumor properties, stimulating immune or cell proliferation while you have an active malignancy is potentially risky and should be cleared by a physician and monitored closely throughout the duration of treatment
